News: EA officially announces The Sims 4 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One in November.

The Sims 4 console announce

EA and Maxis have officially announced that The Sims 4 will be released for both the PS4 and Xbox One on November 17, 2017. This confirms what the world already seemed to know after the game’s existence was ‘outed’ on the Microsoft Store a couple of days ago. The Sims 4 will deliver the same content as the PC version, which will enable players to create unique Sims, build homes, develop (and destroy) relationships and much more. Sim-plicity exemplified, eh?

From today, players will be able to pre-order The Sims 4 on their respective PS4 or Xbox One console’s digital storefront. Those who pre-order will receive The Sims 4 Perfect Patio Stuff pack. If you can’t wait then pre-ordering the Deluxe Party Edition includes three days early access, plus special content such as a Flaming Tiki Bar, outrageous costumes, silly animal hats and even more. It’s all a bit like Groundhog Day (https://www.videogamer.com/news/sims-4-is-finally-coming-to-xbox-one-three-years-later) this. EA Access members also get up to five days exclusive play time before its launch, which is nice, if you’re a member.

The Sims 4 is a simulation game where you take a customised Sim and control their life, exploring a range of different personality traits that change how the game plays out. A totally non-linear game, there is no set goal and each Sim’s life-journey will pan out differently according to their emotional state, and the players interaction.
