Wells Fargo

sells branches

Wells Fargo is exiting retail banking operations in some Midwestern states.

The beleaguered San Francisco financial institution stated Tuesday that it’s going to promote 52 branches in Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio to a Flagstar Bancorp subsidiary, in addition to a number of branches in Wisconsin. The branches will likely be renamed Flagstar when the deal is full late this 12 months.

Monetary phrases weren’t disclosed. Virtually 500 workers will get job affords from Flagstar.
