Shoppers push for extra airline price transparency

DALLAS — Client advocacy teams are elevating considerations in regards to the U.S. Division of Transportation’s determination to not pursue rules that would have elevated transparency of airline baggage charges and different add-on costs.

The federal company introduced this month it’s withdrawing two notices of proposed rule stating that it’s investigating potential rules requiring airways to reveal bag charges earlier within the reserving course of and supply extra detailed reporting in regards to the charges they accumulate.
