Traders push Tesla to oust administrators, substitute Musk as chairman

With Tesla in hassle, some traders assume it’s time to shake up the board of administrators.

Shareholders will vote Tuesday on whether or not to dump three administrators and substitute Elon Musk as board chairman.

Few, if any, count on the votes to cross. In previous years, shareholders have overwhelmingly supported the corporate in opposition to activists. And Musk owns 21.9 p.c of Tesla voting shares.

However some advocates — involved a couple of lack of impartial voices on the board — count on the variety of “dump” votes might be large enough to make waves and power Musk and Tesla to pay extra consideration to investor considerations.
